JDPC AWKA SUCCESSFULLY HOLDS MINDSET DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP
The Justice, Development and Peace Caritas (JDPC), Awka, successfully organized a Mindset Development Workshop themed “Living a Purposeful Life in the Midst of Global Distractions.” The event brought together young people, professionals, entrepreneurs, and community members for an inspiring and impactful session focused on purposeful living, personal development, and value creation.
The workshop was designed to address the growing challenges of distraction, lack of direction, and limited personal growth affecting many individuals in today’s society. Through engaging sessions and practical discussions, participants were encouraged to develop the right mindset needed to remain focused, productive, and intentional in achieving their goals.
One of the major highlights of the programme was the session on practical steps to self-discovery. Participants were guided on how to identify their strengths, talents, passions, and purpose in order to live more meaningful and impactful lives. The event featured distinguished guest speakers, including Nelson Nwaenyi, popularly known as Nelson Whyte. He encouraged young people to stay focused on growth, leadership, and value creation.
Also present was Sir Ezeonu Ogo, the Board Chairman, who shared practical agricultural knowledge with participants. He taught different methods of planting cassava and maize, emphasizing the importance of agriculture, productivity, and self-reliance as tools for economic empowerment and sustainable development.
The programme ended successfully with participants expressing appreciation for the insightful teachings and practical lessons gained from the workshop.
