1. V2P Project funded by Christian Aid Nigeria
2. HIFA Project funded by Hifa Austria is a Scholarship program for Primary and Secondary students where over 120 students benefits annually in the program
3. BookShop Project sponsored by JDPC Awka is initiated to meet the demand of the public for Sacramentals and other Holy Books
4. Agriculture Project sponsored by JDPC Awka cultivation of Staple crops like Cassava, Yam, Maize, Rice, Plantain.
5. JDPC Awka Main – Tuesday Caritas sponsored by JDPC Awka

7. Community Empowerment and Development Initiative [CEDI] Project funded by Barmherzkeit International [World Mercy Fund] is designed to contribute towards eradicating poverty and improving the standard of living for community members. This shall be achieved through the provision of Scholarship to indigent students, school buses to schools to control transportation and ensure the safety of students, and a skill acquisition program on Tailoring for women/young girls.
8. Community and Legislative members Interactive Platform [CLIP] Project funded by Catholic Caritas Foundation of Nigeria (CCFN) aims at entrenching effective communication between the Legislative Members of focal constituencies and their community members on Community Development Projects and Policy Legislation.

COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT AND DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVE [CEDI]

Community Empowerment and Development Initiative [CEDI] project as implemented by Justice Development and Peace Caritas [JDPC] Awka is designed to contribute towards eradicating poverty and improving the standard of living for community members. This shall be achieved through the provision of Scholarship to indigent students, school buses to schools to control transportation and ensure the safety of students, and a skill acquisition program on Tailoring.

So far, there have been;

• 100 beneficiaries in the Scholarship program
• A School has benefitted from the School Bus donation program
• 40 Women/young girls beneficiaries in the Skill acquisition in Tailoring program where they shall get Tailoring kits after their Training session.

JDPC Awka through funding from Barmherzkeit international (World Mercy Fund) in Switzerland secured scholarship scheme for 100 Secondary school Beneficiaries [disaggregated into 57 male students and 43 female students] and a Coaster Bus to St Patrick’s College Awka from same Barmherzkeit international (World Mercy Fund) in Germany as well as a Hummer School Bus for Holy Innocent (Fr Ekwu Memorial) Nursery and Primary School, Owerre-Ezukala.
