A HEARTWARMING VISIT TO AN ORPHANAGE HOME

Items donated to Divine Mercy Orphanage home

Justice Development and Peace Caritas (JDPC Awka) has once again demonstrated its commitment to supporting vulnerable members of the society as it donated food items to Divine Mercy Orphanage Home in Amawbia today being 20th June 2023. The donation was made possible with the support of Engineer EKENECHI who partnered with the organization to provided assistance to the children in the orphanage.

The Executive Director of JDPC Awka, Rev. Fr. Levi Ukor, expressed his appreciation to Engineer EKENECHI for his generous support towards the initiative. He also commended the management of Divine Mercy Orphanage Home for their passionate care towards the children in their custody. The food items donated include bags of rice, cartons of noodles, detergents, gallon of vegetable oil and other essential food items that would help to sustain the children in the orphanage home.

The JDPC Awka, a renowned non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting justice, human rights, and sustainable development, took the initiative to address the needs of the orphanage, which has been providing a safe haven for vulnerable children in the community for many years.

The collaboration between JDPC Awka and the local orphanage did not end with the donation drive.
