Bishop Ezeokafor Gives Succour to Awka North Flood Victims Through the Justice Development and Peace Caritas (JDPC) Awka Diocese

                                                       

No fewer than 1000 Awka North Local Government Area’s internally displaced flood victims, on Tuesday 3rd November 2022, received assorted food items and relief materials worth millions of Naira from the Catholic Bishop of Awka Diocese.

His Lordship Most Rev Paulinus Ezeokafor donated the items through the Justice Development and Peace Caritas, JDPC Awka Diocese, at the internally Displaced person’s (IDP) camp located at St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Awba Ofemili.
                                             
The Catholic Bishop visited the camp with the Diocesan Chancellor, Rev. Fr Charles Ndubisi; Very Rev. Fr Anthony Anike, Episcopal Vicar, Adazi Region; Rev. Fr Shedrack Anuwa, Episcopal Vicar, Nimo Region; Rev. Fr Levi Ukor, Director, JDPC, Awka Diocese among others.
                                          
Some of the items given to them include tubers of yam, cartons of noodles, bags of crayfish, bags of rice, groundnut oil, rolls of tissue paper, bags of beans, bags of salt, bags of cassava flour, cartons of biscuit, bag of egwusi, bag of Ogbono, bag of onions and maize flour.
